first things first a news burst - things have been quiet enough since my last post… been to the dentists and been told I need even more work done… started playing World of Warcraft, I am way more enjoying it this time round… plans for Ablaze are slowly gathering pace as long as my lethargic nature and poor short term memory don’t get in the way too much… seen a few good DVDs recently, hopefully a few good movies soon… RPG front is looking shiny with Werewolf out soon… and I think thats about it.

Now onto the real reason for this post I have a dilemma… as you will now this site has four main sections, texts, gallery, a forum, and this blog. The only section that even kinda sees any action is the blog, so I am considering the following set of drastic actions…
- removal of the gallery, forum and texts section
- update Wordpress to 1.5 and have it as the front page
- I would upload any texts, images, rants etc as they occur into WordPress itself using different categories

Why? The few of you who read this may ask… well there are few reasons:
… it reduces the SQL (the programme that practically runs this site) load to being only one thing using it
… it should also allow me to also spring clean it and get rid of all the dross that inhabits it (it may means I lose this current blog again but this time I’ll back it up and restore it - I hope)
… 1.5 allows me to use varying “styles” depending on categories that should produce a more “interesting browsing experience”
That’s the main reasons, if you have any objections to these plans please tell me, I doubt there will be any so I am aiming to get this done over Easter if not sooner.
