Just a Quickie…

Just a quick one today, I’ve had a few days off (Thursday to Monday, inclusive) so my batteries have recharged. Well, recharged enough to get me through to my week long holiday in September which I had thought I had timed to coincide with the second week that my flat mate Andy is away. Nope. I got it wrong it’s the week he is back… oh well, its still a holiday just have to cancel the wild parties and insane shenanigans 
Lets see, not done much since the premier, played Versus CCG, bought some RPG books (and about to buy one more), chatted into the little hours with friends, helped out at Granton again (looks like it may become more regular), erm, well, that’s about it. Got the Divisional Welcome Meeting for New Officer this week, normally I’d give it a wide body swerve (usually I have other stuff on but its all off this week… again) but Dawn and Chris are being welcomed and since they are my friends I shall go as I want to see them and welcome them back to God’s country
Anyway, better go. Got some lose ends to tie up here before I head off to Black Lion Games to hopefully pick up a copy of Mage. Laters People.

Erm… honest… I arrived just as the Glenrothes singers (or what ever the proper title was for them) were on, they sounded rather good… the Major who gave her testimony before you was very funny, well from what I could hear as I had a few people with me out in the foyer by that point. The guy who gave the sermon was alright, not my style, but not bad either… the songs were… well… old, some I had never even heard of let alone sang. Still I know some who attended enjoyed them and that is good enough for me.
Of course my main reason (nae, only reason) for attending was too at least say hello to yourself and Dawn (although I never got a chance to see Dawn, although she did phone me, in my professional capacity, today) which I kinda did.
How about you, how did you find it… or is that going to be covered in you next blog entry?
