Winter Cinema
The newly revamped Empire Online has its 54 films to look for this winter, so here is my picks from their list…
- Harry Potter 4
(never read the books but I have seen all of the other Potter films and the last one was quite good)
- Doom
(I first feared this, then loathed it, now seeing it I am hopeful its not a complete travesty)
- Chronicle of Narnia
(CS Lewis in a big budget film… my dreams are coming true?)
- The Fountain
(Hugh Jackman in some weirdness… fun? Probably.)
- Aeon Flux
(if this is anything like the MTV series its based off it should be at least… interesting)
- V for Vendetta
(one can hope it lives up to its noble Moore heritage)
- King Kong
(its Peter Jackson, back again with a BIG… well budget and a Gorilla)
- Fun with Dick and Jane
(could be good, could be dire, Jim Carrey tends to be a bit hit or miss for me)
Looks like a decent enough winter season of films, and there are probably more to come ![]()
