Well… its been a bit… lets see, I’ve got a shiny new 19″ TFT monitor and 3 rather cool new CDs. I’ve given away my old PC, which turns out not to be as in as good a working order as I thought (as in its not even switching on). I’m also trying to get rid of my CRT (it’s a biggie 19″ or so) but I want cash for that one mainly so I can cover some of the expense that was the TFT…

Apart from all that its been quiet, last movie I saw was Night Watch which is one very surreal and arty Russian supernatural flick… it was quite good in my view. I’m still going to be helping out divisional children’s sleepover next weekend… why did I agree to spend a night with kids… I don’t get on with kids… in fact I REALLY am not a kids person, but they needed a techie (speaking of which I am also occasionally still helping out at Granton, but its good because its very small doses).

In the future lies many an event, next weekend is that sleep over. A few weekends later is the youth retreat (must remember to send in form and money). The weekend after that (the last in November) is an event called DFL (Design For Life) which is all about finding your vocation. I’ve been invited so I thought that even though its my 3rd time I’d go and see if I can see more of what is I am supposed to be doing. It definitely not being an administrator at my current place I can tell you that much.

I’ve been asked by a couple of places that if I want I can submit my sermons (and the like) to them. I’m going to take them up on the offer but I also want to write a few more new ones but getting the time and inspiration is not easy.

Anyway, I’d better go there is a draft tournament for the Avengers release of the Versus system tonight and a big pre-release event next Sunday. Yup, Sunday… its in the morning so I’ll still be able to make it to the evening service (especially since I usually lose at these types of events) where I am supposed to be playing bass.
