Quick wee post to say that, Burnout: Revenge for the PS” is rocking, in more than one way. It is sheer, unadulterated, car-wrecking, mindless fun. Quake 4 (for the PC), is amazing, it is what Doom 3 should have been, tense, but filled with action and running maniacally away from big bad guys. It is just a bummer it has a REALLY annoying copy protection that can mean either severe mucking around with your system just to get it the DVD to recognise, or it just will refuse to play at all. Suddenly the hassle of setting up Steam so I could play Half Life 2 seems perfectly sublime (actually to be honest I had no problems with my steam et al set up, and it didn’t take hours to connect for me, but I know that it did for some people). Anyway, in short, at least as far as computer games goes, I’m in a good place.
On other notes, I’ve applied for a job which although it’s a severe pay cut, about £3k it will offer me more opportunities than my current one and looks like it could be a very good position for me, I guess we shall see. I’ve got “Youth Councils Retreat” this weekend up near Glenshee, which should be cool (especially since I hear that Chris and Dawn are doing a murder mystery, time to go through the old CSI and Law and Order episodes ;)). The following weekend I have DFL, which is basically an opportunity to study and see if I can ascertain my vocation (calling) in work… you never third time might be the charm ;).
Anyway, today has been a bit of a dud at work, every time I started something I got side tracked and then by the time I got back it had been ages… oh well, tomorrow is another day. Oh and Rammstein’s new album is class in a glass… if you like their music that is.
Laters people, and remember, always reload your weapons and quick save before opening any doors, cause you never know.

Oh dear… that’s a bit of extra pressure
I’m writing it right now… it’s really hard to make it suitably twisty without making it downright impossible to solve!

Welcome to the horror and joy that is the world of GMing… since basically thats what your doing, kinda…
At any rate I look forward to failing miserably to spot the clues as I always seem to do
