What a week…

Actually to be correct its just been the last few days that truly sucked. But they are over and they problems (which have been exclusively work based) have kinda been sorted. Not much has really happened in my corner of reality this last while, hence the lack of updates. I am still waiting to hear, hopefully in a positive way, about this job in Tokyo (I really hope and pray that this happens, I’d miss my friends and family but I need to get away from this job and this opportunity feels so right). I have seen some very good TV lately and yet I STILL have not managed to see either Narnia or Harry Potter, which is most upsetting.

Some brief news/opinion-bites:

  • Underworld: The Directors Cut – Still a fun movie, but really couldn’t see where the extra 10 minutes where (bar one or two extended scene which were no where near 10 min)
  • PS3 = Sexy… no really, trust me on this one.
  • Latest albums from System of a Down, Demon Hunter, Coldplay, Mortal Treason, Bullet for my Valentine, Comeback Kid, Trivium, Goldfrapp = most excellent.
  • New Spider-Man costume (aka Iron Spidey) – Hmm not too sure, the proper picture is better and it is very much relating to the big plots that Marvel are doing this year so I shall accept it and see.
  • Speaking of Spider-Man – The third movie is still worrying me, but we shall see if they can pull it off so far Raimi has done an amazing job so I wait with baited breath
  • And to complete the trilogy – I want to know whats happened to Spider-man in “The Other” arc, but I still have three more issues to go, and I have the feeling even then the answers may not all be there.
  • There are some excellent comic out there right now, and please remember - comics are NOT just for kids
  • Invasion – is a good TV series, it just takes a long time to get going and builds deep and interesting characters… well I think so at any rate
  • Intel Mac’s – hold me back, no really, the temptation is almost as great as an Alienware PC.

Well there you go, random update over.
