Greetings its been a while.

Well… to be honest I’ve not been too great… the whole visa thing has not been resolved and it has meant that I have been a bit low which combined with my natural predisposition towards apathy has meant I have let things slip more than normal… like keeping in contact with friends.

So, as you can imagine I started today kinda low annoyed with myself for countless things. I ended up going shopping and then doing some artwork when I got home, suddenly I was hit by a creative flair which lifted my spirit no end. If you want to look at them they are at my Flickr account here, here, here, and here (this ones a bit dark… and I mean in theme not just in brightness, although it is that too).

Got a couple of links to share: The Star Trek workup by JMS and Bryce Zabel, if you a Trek fan its well worth a read. Goodness knows I’d like to see it. Also found this link on MaFT’s site, an editing of Bush speeches into Sunday Bloody Sunday… disturbing and cool. I have also found a bunch of other stuff… mainly videos, comic strips, and the occasional show which is really cool (Avatar: The last Airbender to name one) but can’t seem to find the links… which sucks. Oh well.

Anyway like I say I am feeling a lot more upbeat (see how long that lasts) but I still get annoyed with my various, and depending on my mood, numerous failures as a friend and personality… that being said I suppose that fact I get annoyed is a good thing for one day it may annoy me enough to get me to do something to change

Okay, before I get all inward and self analytical which to be honest is not something you need to read about I will sign off. Catch ya on the flip side.

P.S. - Ultraviolet sucks… no really it does. (this is of course the movie that is just out here and not the amazing UK TV series).

EDIT: You know I said that I was in a better mood but I wondered how long that would last… well it turns out it was until the next morning. I woke this morning to see a letter from the council about my Housing Benefit, at last they had processed my claim after various requests for information… yup they had processed it and rejected my claim and will not pay me benefit saying I had not given them the information they wanted… which makes no sense and that I had not filled in the form correctly… they never stated in any of the previous THREE letters to me that there was any additional forms or a problem with any form I had filled in. What makes it worse is this is Saturday and I will have to wait until Monday before I can deal with it. If I cannot get this sorted I am shafted beyond all recognition. Needless to say I am fuming and about ready to explode…  I am going now to vent my anger by playing the amazing demo for Prey.
