Day Two - Epilogue

Well, having had a long “discussion” with the president of the school they are, in short, unwilling to have someone with different beliefs on their staff. Its a shame we could not work things out but they were not very receptive to my views and beliefs. I can see why they did not want me anymore, I think the thing that got me most (actually there was a couple) was “no one else but us will know if you (change your mind)/(comprimise)”… the brackets were because I can’t remember exactly what was said. It doesn’t matter to me if any human knew or did not know I had comprimised the fact was God would and thats all that I care about.

So in short I’m unemployed again… this time in Tokyo :)

Seriously though I will be hme sooner rather than later but I am going to try and have a while in Japan to actually have a holiday and at least see some of it while I am out here. Although that may be easier said than done.

Whatever happens I know I did the right thing, know I just need to see whats next for me.

Anyway I’ll keep you all posted.

  6. Hi Adam,
Why not drop me a line with your details and what’s been going on. I have a friend in Tokyo who you could possibly connect with for encouragement.

  7. Hi Adam,

I’m the dude that Stevie above is talking about. If you’re interested in working in Tokyo, it is fairly easy to find work if you don’t mind teaching English (initially at least). Also, if you’re interested in visiting my church (http://www.jesuslifehouse.com) give me an e-mail.
