And so another chapter has its outline written…

Well, I signed off job seekers today because as of last Thursday I am officially starting my own business… yup, I am taking the plunge and going to give it a shot (that is not to say that I will not be looking for a “normal” job). The exact details will follow, but as I have previously said it is a design company with some IT consultancy on the side. As things progress I will keep you wonderful people up to date.
On other fronts you may, or may not, have seen I have added a new link in my “site links” section. After meaning to log on for ages I have finally set up a Last.fm account, so now you can see what I listen too… scary prospect isn’t it
Anyway, here is my current top ten artists…

“A new and dangerous code”? I need to be careful my xbox live gamertag uses 0 instead of o… I’ll be branded a terrorist next. Actually, I do think it’s funny when people think just because I’m in my 20s I can’t understand l33t - it lets me read a whole lot more than they think I should be able to
On another note - how you getting on with the “designer for hire” idea?

Anyway… my pursuit of self employment is progressing… if slowly.
I am looking at various banks to see which is the best to take a business bank account with, although I think the bank I’ve been with since Uni may be my first choice just because they are teh easiest, if not the best… I can always change banks.
My business advisor from the Business Gateway people wants to see me a week on Tuesday (after she gets back from Australia :)) so by then I will have registered for Tax, finished my business plan (which is 90% done already, just need to check figures), and a bank account.
So at the moment I’m working on the Granton job (the joy of figuring out wither or not to recommend going for a switch or a hub!) and trying to create publicity stuff.
