Odd day, you know, one of those days thats not really, well, normal.

Started off okay, with doing some work, then I went to my first visit to my new dentist… needless to say not a highpoint, but he was nice and is even going to try and fix my broken tooth rather than just removing it or trying to cap it. Then more work… its almost as if I had worked for a living

Anyway, then came the evening. I am not, by nature, very good at walking into public situations, meeting new people etc but I know I can do it and really I need to get over it. So I decided to go to “The Gathering” (no not the massive LARP, I wish I could go to that) and meet new people, well, people I had never met physcially at least.

We met in Cafe Nero (where I forgot to try their new hot chocolate which I had been told was fantastic) and had a fun just chatting and mucking around with wool, a hulahoop, a model duck, and a squeeky hotdog toy… needless to say insanity soon followed… well it really pinnacled when, well, I won’t say for fear of legal ramifications (update: well, it looks like Mr Ducky was found by someone else, funny thing was thats not where we left it)

Some of us then headed to Wagamana, a rather nice Japanese Restuarant chain… its good, but something deep within me just prefers Izzi. All in all a fun evening and a good chance to meet new people (and some I had met previously but only briefly). If I can I’ll be going next time this happens.

So back to normality, such that it is, and the continued attempts to make the business work and find somewhere to live.

EDIT: Cool… Day Watch has been made (and by the looks of it a bigger budget, wither that is good thing or not I will not judge from this trailer)… I really enjoyed Night Watch, even if it was Surreal Russian modern day fantasy, actually BECAUSE it was Surreal Russian modern day fantasy
