Green with Anger Management Issues…
I was never really a huge Hulk fan growing up… but recently things have changed. It started with Ang Lee’s Hulk which I think was a very good adpation (minus the last half hour where it suddenly changes tone and direction - I’m sure that ths studio’s fault) then in comic books came the Ultimate unvierse’s Hulk (”Hulk show Betty good time”) and then most recentlty the really enjoyable Planet Hulk plot arc in the Incredible Hulk comics, which is leading to Marvels next big comic event after Civil War, World War Hulk… which if its done well shold prove to be very interesting.
For a while there have been rumours that there was to be a new Hulk live action movie, and that it was basically going to ignore the first movie, and that Eric Bana wasn’t going to be involved… well they’ve just announed who the new Hulk will be… Edward Norton… no I’m not joking. In case your interested here is his IMdB page. I have to admit I did not see that one coming. I do fear that it will be nothing more than a mindless action flick and with its director being Louis Leterrier, that fear is not entirely unfounded. The script is based on one from Zak Penn, who has does not have exactly a good record: Last Action Hero, Insepctor Gadget, Elektra, Fantastic Four… sudder… the only bright gem in their is X-Men 2. This does not bode well… or it could surprise me and be good. I suppose at the very least it will be a fun action movie… which would be a shame.
EDIT: as part of my packing I’ve at last finished cataolging my DVD collection, all 189 of them… and thats with some still being out on loan… I never quite realised I had that many.

Adam wants to say he made a typo above. It really is Ed Norton. Honest. He can’t say it himself as he doesn’t have web access at the moment.
