Bad month… not really happy with anything I did, it didn’t help that for most of it I didn’t have my software on my computer installed so I couldn’t do any computer based art (which is where my strongest skills. I believe, lie… is that right, is it “lie”, or “lay”… man I suck at English).

Anyway, I suppose if I must choose at least a couple from this month (and at the time of posting the 30th’s isn’t up but its just a ticket for Shrek 3 so doesn’t count) then they would be:

Two photos of various paintings (1 and 2) - mainly because these are one I want to keep, and the three small panels are part of one I am still working on (I even have a pretentious arty name for it). I have found painting to be a joy (which is nice since I have a passion for art) and although it seems that I am not ready for realism in any shape or form, I do at least enjoy creating these “colour scapes”, I may even try some more abstract work to try and improve my detail work… or a better idea would be to take classes but I need a job first

Some Old Drawings - These are all taken from my A2 drawing pad, its just good sometimes to look back not only to see prgress but also to see some of my old favourites. They are, at the top - a demons head, at the bottom left - a Spiritual Glyph/Tattoo, at the bottom right - a Cryx Warjack

Yeah, so not a great month but its been a funny month. I have been, if I’m honest, quite down this month what with still not managing to get a job and a series of internal arguments with myself over a couple of things from work to love, and a series of stops inbetween, which have drained me a bit.

However, a great truth is that no matter what has been, is, or will be, will be for my benefit (bible link), its just sometimes (nae quite often) it doesn’t feel like it at the time
