I may have news… (UPDATED)
Something amazingly cool has happened, but until it is confirmed (which should be in the next week), I am not making it public. Lets just say God is good, and I am giddy with excitement… which is a feeling I haven’t felt since I was on my way to Japan!
Glee!!!
EDIT: Okay so I can’t wait, it was a silly idea to wait, so let me begin…
On Saturday I was checking my gmail account looking for an email from someone else when I discovered I had an email from the Salvation Army asking me if I wanted to be part of the Parklife team at Roots, and this is the cool part, as an artist
Basically it will mean, if they accept my acceptance, I get to paint in front of a crowd of young people during the event using the event as inspiration.
Its just fantastic news for me, I have no idea how they found me, but I am thankful they did as this is something I have wanted to do for years and the desire has only grown since trying to make my way as an artist. I can’t wait.
EDIT2: For those who are interested HERE is the PDF of the handout I used in today’s Youth Cell on Freedom.
