June 2008 in Project365

Wow, another month has flown by… so yet another month in review of my Project365 stuff:
- Amergin - I kinda like this one, I don’t do many A3 ink only sketches. It is a sketch of a character I play in one of the role playing games I am in. The character is basically a Shaman (a magic using person of nature) from a Scottish Highlands type land, he is rather fun to play
- Couple of new paintings - Mainly for the top blue one (Crowd of One) and the bottom right one (Muse), these were a couple of the painting on sale at the Spooned Out event. I do feel that I have found my feet with painting and have a base ability on which I can now improve.
- Comfort - One of the few digital images this month, the others were not that great, this one however I really like it changed as it was created and even at points I was going to give up on it. It is meant to simply reflect the need I believe we all have at times just simply to be held, to be comforted.
- Spooned Out - While not some of my best photography it makes the pick because it shows off some of my newest works and it proves I have technically now exhibited work
There we go, only a few but still happy with them. July is off to a good start with “Ice Mage“, hopefully it will continue in that vein… I can but hope
EDIT: On an unrelated note, two links to do with freedom in the UK, Tony Benn on HardTalk, and The Ongoing Adventures of ASBO Jesus 500th post.
EDIT2: Ok… so how many noticed that the post was titled “July…” and not “June…” anyone… nope… good, I’ve changed it to what it should be ![]()

I REALLY like “Crowd of One”, mate. It has a nice simplicity to it, almost stark, slightly abstract. Its very very good.
